Dear All,

Here are some updates on what NUS Sado Club did in February 2010:

The NUS Sado Club was invited to do a short performance for the ‘Cultural Activities Week’ at the new sheltered foyer of Yusof Ishak House.

The event took place right before Chinese New Year, so we did our performance against the background of CNY decorations.

Next up we helped the Japanese Studies Department to run a series of Sado Tutorials for its module JS2230 – Itadakimasu: Food in Japan. The idea was to give students the opportunity to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony while learning about the ideals that the Japanese incorporate into their food traditions.

We would like to thank Dr Morita and Itsuko Sensei for all the coordination with the tutorials. NUS undergraduates, you are strongly encouraged to take this module if you love Japanese food!
